The WF-C510, which Sony has introduced as their new entry-level wireless earbuds, promises comfort and a longer battery life than you may anticipate for $60.
These are Sony’s tiniest “closed” earphones to date, based on the description. The ergonomics and silicone tips should improve the comfort of the suit. Additionally, the charging case is thinner and smaller than previously, making it simpler to fit into a pocket.
The battery life is long, even with the small size. Sony projects that the earbuds themselves will last 11 hours of listening, and the case will last an additional 11 hours. You will have enough battery life to last through a lengthy flight. It only takes five minutes to charge, and you can get an additional hour of playback.
The Sony earbuds contain a feature called “Voice Focus” that amplifies people’s voices, but they don’t offer true active noise cancellation. To ensure that you can hear traffic and other outside noises, you can also enable ambient sound mode, which works similarly to transparency on AirPods.
The WF-C510 supports Spotify Tap so you can access your music and works with Fast Pair and Swift Pair to get you started quickly. Two devices can be connected at once, and thanks to their IPX4 water resistance, they’re reasonably suited for an exercise routine.
Amazon offers pre-orders for the black, white, and yellow variants; Sony sells those as well as an exclusive blue edition directly.
They can appeal to you more than the rivals. The Beats Solo Buds are also small and have a longer battery life for the earphones alone, but the casing doesn’t contain a battery. In addition to offering ear tips that should keep them more stable, Sony can boast a longer battery life overall.
